Celebrating Artistic Brilliance and Cultural Expression at the African Heritage Gala

We are thrilled to share the incredible night we had at the African Heritage Gala on Saturday, where we unveiled our newest venture, "The Fine Arts of Minerals" book a division of Scotia Kelp. The event was a celebration of artistic brilliance and cultural expression, as our display showcased stunning mineral canvas art created by talented black artists. In this blog post, we would like to express our gratitude to the Black Cultural Centre and all our supporters for their recognition and support of local black artists. Additionally, we have an exciting update on our journey with Dragons' Den. Read on to learn more!

  1. Unveiling "The Fine Arts of Minerals":

Our display at the African Heritage Gala was a testament to the beauty and creativity that can be achieved through the fusion of minerals and art. The stunning mineral canvas art captivated the audience, showcasing the unique artistic styles, cultural influences, and stories behind each piece. We are immensely proud to provide a platform for black artists to express their creativity and share their heritage through this unique medium.

  1. Appreciation for the Black Cultural Centre and Supporters:

We extend our deepest appreciation to the Black Cultural Centre for their unwavering support and for choosing local black artists to display their exceptional talent at this year's gala. Their commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and artistic expression has played a vital role in making the event a resounding success. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with them and look forward to future endeavors that empower artists within our community.

  1. Dragons' Den Audition Success:

In addition to our debut at the African Heritage Gala, we had an exhilarating audition with the Dragons' Den on Saturday afternoon. This opportunity allowed us to showcase the ingenuity and potential of Scotia Kelp Products to the esteemed panel of show producers. We are eagerly awaiting news in April to learn if we have made it to the second audition stage. The continued support of our valued customers, supporters, and government representatives has been instrumental in our journey. We want to extend a special thanks to CEED (Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development) for hosting the Dragons' Den audition. Their dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting businesses in our community has been invaluable. We are grateful for their guidance and assistance throughout the audition process.
